I’ll keep this brief since this site is currently under development, and most of the details of the past and present can be found in my LinkedIn profile here. Basically, my desire in forming seniortechadvisor.com is to address a need in our community where seniors are being exposed to new technologies without adequate preparation and instruction. Given a better introduction to available options and individualized instruction, my belief is that a new world of opportunities will open up with a better understanding of the ‘power of the Web’ and appropriate tools needed to access it.
Many have a justifiable fear that with access comes a certain amount of risk. I completely agree, and as part of the instruction I provide is a discussion about the specific risks we all need to be concerned about and how to reduce that risk . Along with the classes I teach, I’ll also post articles on this site that address current issues, best known methods, and product reviews. It is worthwhile checking back here from time to time to see what’s new since I try to capture the best of what I learn each day helping my customers and publish it here.
