Mom was laid to rest at the Rose Hill Cemetary in Upper Dublin, PA next to her husband, Bill. One of the items placed in her grave was a note from our Dad that Mom kept in her wallet till she died.

It brings a tear to my eye remembering the love they had for eachother, and our love for them…

Mom’s final resting place:

For those who didn’t know our father (Bill) very well, perhaps the following three documents will give you some insight into his amazing past. Bill was a military aviator, a great Dad and husband, a good business man (those who worked for him at the Bell Telephone Company loved him), and a strong leader in our local community, Warwick Township.

I’m not sure about the source of the first document which reads like an obituary, but second and third documents were written by Bill on a manual typewriter as I recall (though I might be wrong about that). He really didn’t like PCs much. In fact, he once said that he wouldn’t use a PC at work because it might replace his secretary, and if that happened he would quit. And even though they had a PC at home our father depended on mother to teach him what he needed to know and do things on the PC that he couldn’t/wouldn’t. Of the two, mother was the computer wiz!
